Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma;
  • 2 years of experience in heavy-duty or construction equipment maintenance:
  • Must be able to work outdoors;
  • Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding,
  • Attention to detail:
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good command of English.

 

Shall perform the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a
professional manner:

  • Act as first point of contact on all equipment-related issues, both on-site and off-
    side
  • Perform routine maintenance of our fleet of skid steers, mini excavators, power
    wheelbarrow and other equipment
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions and inform management of extent and possible
    costs of repair and practicality of repair work
  • Perform maintenance of engines and various other equipment parts which may
    include adjusting and replacing of defective parts ;cleaning and lubricating
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Perform quality assurance or equipment testing of fixed equipment to minimize
    lapses which can lead to slowed production and exuberant costs
  • Order parts and maintain inventory of working tools and parts
  • Complete test and maintenance reports
  • Conduct preventative measures
